Adrian Stellato wins Kids Rapid U/12 February 2024 Event

The Swieqi Chess Club Kids Rapids returned in February 2024, with two separate events for Under 12s and Under 18s respectively. The Under 12s was held in the morning, and 14 young players played the event. The quality of play is increasing and most players are now not playing fast but utilising much more the time available. Also great to always see newcomers that take the leap to start competing in tournaments. Adrian Stellato emerged as clear winner of the U/12 event with a perfect score of five points out of five games, followed by Samuel Spiteri (second) and by Laurent Sukys (third).
