Club Statement: Robert Novak part of club's committee

The Swieqi Chess Club would like to announce a change in the operational team running the club.

Mark Fleri, the main founder and instrumental in the first years of the club, will be stepping down from his current role. Mark, an honorary life member of the club, will still remain close to the club and will be helping out in some events.

Robert Novak, a prominent figure in the local chess scene, will be joining the operational setup of the club. The club will be organising an extraordinary general meeting in the next days to formalise this change.

Whilst thanking Mark Fleri for all his work to have the club exist in the first place, we welcome Novák Róbert onboard!
